As a new homeowner moving into the Stoneybrooke neighborhood in early 2009, we were pleasantly surprised at the organization and participation rate of the bi-annual Stoneybrooke Community Yard Sale. Seven years later, I’m still thankful for the leaders and volunteers who continue to coordinate this event and all the residents who participate to make this day a great success. It’s wonderful to walk around the neighborhood on a crisp fall or spring morning and see all the items finding second homes to the numerous visitors driving around looking for deals.
The next Stoneybrooke Community Yard Sale is coming up soon (Saturday, October 1, 2016). If you have questions or want to participate by setting up a table, please e-mail yardsale@stoneybrooke.org and someone will respond to you quickly.
The Stoneybrooke Community Association (SCA) will be advertising for this event through signs posted around the area as well as posting ads online to various online communities.
