College

Lawren Dolland
Daughter of Carolyn & Brian Ashby, graduated on May 20 from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Psychology. Lawren plans to continue her education toward a Ph.D.

Matt Molli
Graduated on May 5 from James Madison University with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in History. Matt will spend the summer working with Cassie Sauer at Lee District Park’s summer youth theatre program but has not yet decided on his future plans.

Cassie Sauer
Graduated on May 5 from James Madison University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Cassie will be directing a summer drama camp at Lee District Park and then is keeping her options open for the fall.

Jonathan Selman
Graduated on May 5 with a B.S. in Applied Meteorology from Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach, FL with a minor in Air Traffic Management. Jonathan plans to either join the Coast Guard in hopes of flying helicopters or to join the FAA as an air traffic controller.

High School

Rachel Blier
Graduating from Bishop Ireton. Rachel will attend the University of Mary Washington in the fall where she intends to major in creative writing and studio art.

Alison Brody
Graduating from West Potomac. Alison will attend Rider University in New Jersey this fall. She will be majoring in business and playing for the women’s soccer team.

Victoria Dolland
Daughter of Caroly and Brian Ashby, graduated from Takoma Academy. Victoria will Oakwood College in Alabama in the fall intending to major in theology with a minor in Spanish.

Kelly Geren
Graduating from West Potomac. Kelly will attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville as a business administration major. Kelly will also be playing lacrosse for UT’s club team.

Nicole Gerow
Graduating from West Potomac. Nicole will be attending James Madison University in the fall. She will be playing for the women’s soccer team.

Ronja Roberts
Graduating from West Potomac. Ronja will be attending Concord College in West Virgnia to major in athletic training.

Sam Stevens
Graduating from West Potomac. Sam will attend Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa in the fall. He has two scholarships, an Academic & Community Enrichment (ACE) Scholarship and a Theatre Award, at Cornell College and plans on running cross country there as well. 

Alex Tabarini
Graduating from West Potomac. Will attend the Art Institute of Washington to pursue a B.S. in Fine Arts with a major in Digital Media Production.

Steven Willingham “Troy”
Graduating from West Potomac.  He plans to attend NVCC for one year and then transfer to George Mason to get his degree in Sports Medicine.

Sara Brinton
Sara, a former Stoneybrooke resident, is graduating from Robinson High School. Sara will be attending Duke University in the fall.
