Similar to the 2016 Fall Community Yard Sale, the Stoneybrooke Community Association (SCA) continues to be thankful for the leaders and volunteers who continue to coordinate this event and all the residents who participate to make this traditional event a great success. It’s wonderful to walk around the neighborhood on a crisp spring morning and see all the items finding second homes to the numerous visitors driving around looking for deals.
The next Stoneybrooke Community Yard Sale is coming up THIS WEEKEND (Saturday, April 29, 2017). Unlike past Community Yard Sales originating from within the SCA committees, this date was selected organically by local residents on one of the numerous Stoneybrooke related Facebook groups administered by proactive residents. Once noticed, the SCA offered to support getting the word out. This is the reason for the short notice and the SCA Board will ensure to continue to track the Fall Community Yard Sale (always first Saturday in October, rain date the next Sunday) as well as add in the Spring Community Yard Sale to a similar predictable schedule in order to provide maximum notice for all residents to plan and participate.
The SCA will be advertising for this event through posting ads online to various online communities and are procuring a physical sign to place near the entrance (as allowed by home owners)
