You’re invited to join your neighbors from 4-7 pm in the Old Quarry Ter-race cul-de-sac on Sunday June 2nd to meet with neighbors with a safety focus (organized by aspiring Eagle Scout Zack Husband).

Please bring a pot-luck dish to share, your own drinks and chairs, and your kids to participate in the safety-related events:

Kids fingerprinting and ID cards (Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office)

Basic fire safety, home evacuation awareness and demonstrations of fire equipment (Local Fire station (Penn Daw station #11)

Community Crime Prevention representative meet n greet and Driver Safety tips (Master Police Officer Goodley)

4:15 – 5:15pm

First aid demonstrations and opportunity for kids to create a home evacuation plan (Scouts from Boy Scout Troop 680)

5:00 – 5:30pm

Demonstration of self-defense skills (Students from American Tukong Tae Kwon Do studio)

6:00 – 7:00pm

Tips on neighborhood bicycle safety and good riding practices targeted for kids age 4-12 (Spokes Bicycle shop)
