Hi Neighbors!
There has been an amazing initiative by several residents to pull together ideas and resources during these challenging times of social distancing and “Stay at Home” directives. Neighbors are sharing information such as local store inventories and restaurant recommendations.
Additionally, several family-friendly events have been organized, encouraging neighbors to exercise and display their creativity through themed hunt days. Every residence is invited to participate.
- Create a picture or craft in that particular day’s theme.
- Place it in your window or on your door in a visible place for others to find.
- Then go for a walk (while practicing social distancing) or drive around the neighborhood to count how many you can find while admiring the creativity of Stoneybrooke.
Current Schedule (In the event of inclement weather, the event will shift to the following day)
- 4/7—Rabbits/bunnies (Easter)
- 4/14—Bear (Going on a bear hunt)
- 4/21—Trees (Earth day)
- 4/28—Zoo (create a zoo exhibit or have a zoo animal)
- 5/5—Hearts (Mother’s Day)
- 5/12—Pigeon (tribute to Mo Willems doodles)
- 5/19—Dinosaur
- 5/26—Beach Ball (get ready for summer)
Updates will be shared on Facebook and the community website.
Residents having challenges locating essential resources are encouraged to reach out to the community so we can crowd-source a solution.
